Whether you desire to build a broodmare band,
stand stallions, pin hook or build a racing stable

have a clear understanding of the future endeavor.

Pre-sale Horse Inspections
Clients sometimes prefer to select their own
horses, however; they may need a second opinion
on their prospective purchases. Fanlew Farms will
be available to perform an evaluation including
pedigree and physical inspection. In this
competitive thoroughbred market a second
opinion from an expert will provide comfort in
your purchasing decisions.

Mating Analysis
Fanlew Farms has a solid understanding of
breeding mares. We have the knowledge of the
commercial markets and breeding to race. If you
are wanting to breed to sell or race we are able to
assist you with selecting a mate for your mares.
We review thoroughbred pedigrees and utilize
mating and nicking programs. We supply you with
the best information to make an informed decision
about your breeding. Fanlew Farms will also
negotiate to get you the best deal on a stud fee.

Buy at Auction
Fanlew Farms has assisted in obtaining many
purchases from public auctions for clients.
Extensive research on pedigrees, mating and
previous sales results go into our selections. We
preview horses for conformation, walk and
attitude. Fanlew Farms attends the major sales
and many of the regional sales. We take pride in
our selections and always look for the diamond in
the ruff.

Private Sales
We have a rapport with many farms large and
small. They supply us with a list of their horses for
sale. Stallions, broodmares, yearlings, weanlings
and racing stock are all available privately. Many
great bargains may be purchased in this fashion
for commercial ventures or racing stock.
